Auto-select

Add the new checkbox "Auto-select" in Option-Defaults.

[x] Auto-select
[x] Borders


If this checkbox is checked, select the objects automatically when you made new objects.



This suggestion is good with four reasons.

(1) Easy to delete the objects which are made just now.

(2) Easy to change the attributes of objects which are made just now.

(3) Easy to move the objects which are made just now.
In beta4.22, we can move objects without selecting after making objects. However in beta 5 some tools require selecting object before moving object. You may remember users complained about this behavior.
Then, I noticed we often move objects just after making the objects. So, auto-select will be good to solve this problem a bit.

(4) Not so difficult to implement. : )


In case, user disliked this feature, the user can check off this feature.

Hmm, I meant that when you create an object, it is selected.
Maybe, "Auto-select" is improper name or Option-Default is improper section for Auto-select checkbox...

Great suggestion, why hasn't this been thought of since. Hope this does get implemented as it will save a few mouse clicks. And a lot of time. Also, you could activate it by holding a key whilst creating an object, mabye tab or alt.
