Algodoo Scene folder

Algodoo Scene folder
I've noticed that the scenes from algodoo are put in a seperate folder in documents and settings instead of in the scene folder in the main algodoo folder, and it is very iratating to have to go to two different places.
I think that the saved scenes should go to the main folder, not a folder that is hidden in documents and settings.

Thats funny, I have Vista and its right inside the Algodoo folder, and the Algodoo folder is in the documents folder.

Why would you have to go to two different places? Just go to your documents folder.

I love this feature , it is easier to navigate to "My Documents\Algodoo\scenes" than "C:\Program Files(x86)\Algodoo\1.6.0\scenes\".
Also, I don't have to look through 51 folders (the main different versions of phun I have used (I have some others, but I don't think I have many/any scenes in the others)) to find a single scene (also, I don't have to turn on the perfect accuracy setting every new version ).

Because the only files located in the documents folder are the scenes, textures, phunlets, and screenshots folder. The config file is also located inside. But nothing else is inside of it, like the exe, or any of the core engine files.

Re: Algodoo Scene folder
Personally i prefer the new layout, its a lot quicker to get to my scene files. before i ended up placing an icon on the desktop as it took an eternity to get to the phun scenes directory otherwise.

The problem is, if you have it instaled some where that the program dosn't stay in the same place, the scenes don't follow, plus, the algodoo folder with scenes in it is located in your computers document folder, which is not neccesaraly the same as my documents. I think you should at least be able to tell algodoo where to put things instead of automaticly creating a folder.

i dont like this, because i have algodoo on my flash drive, and it goes to around 5 computers. its annoying to have to copy and paste all my scenes from my documents to the scenes folder

Exactly, plus I cant get it to play downloaded scenes(press open) if it isn't in the program files folder, it's like the computer cant find it, even though I tell it where to go
