lenses for lasers insted of just seperating the colors

Instead of just separating the colors you should be able to increase or decrease the size of the beam like a microscope(Makes tiny light big) and a telescope(Makes big light tiny) while retaining the original color with a lens . I was looking forward to making my cars have actual head lights instead of tracers, but all i get are rainbows!

In actuality: In lens telescopes, the colors DO get seperated (slightly).
You should stick to parabolic reflectors.

That's also how it works in real life.
In real life, the light bulb radiates light, meaning all the light spreads out from the start.
