Algodoo Workspace (a.k.a. Explorer)
Overview
The feature Algodoo Workspace (a.k.a. Explorer) would be a great feature to be added to Algodoo. This will be a game changer for Algodoo, as this allows more control, grouping and easier identification of objects.
This feature shows all of the objects and instances that exist in the scene, including assets, objects and variables. This may seem 'useless' to someone who is not a Thyme programmer, but this will help with identifying objects once the scene goes big, and they have to organise all of the objects.
You can create, delete (most of the time), rename and edit the objects and instances (as long as it is not read-only) as you go along!
Example:
NOTE: If you are looking for Algodoo Workspace - All Windows.png attachment, keep in mind the lock icons in one of the objects, white is locked (user togglable), yellow is undeletable, red is read-only.
Scripting
For programmers, you may have more control over your variable, and you can modify or delete variables (or nullify the variable). There are no Script instances you might expect from Roblox, Unity or other gaming engines; there is still a script in the object, you might find it with the Script Menu usually by right-clicking the object and finding it, or from the properties.
What's the utmost excellent thing about this feature? You can use scripts to find an object, even without e.other! You can use some commands like this:
Now that might kinda sound like Lua scripting, but Thyme is far different from it. However, this may come with limitations such as assigning a variable of an object and the property, trying to edit it, but it only edits the variable, but it is fine.
Conclusion
Overall, this feature gives more control, allows grouping, organising and toggling settings easily; able to distinguish the object by names and folders.
