collide-able springs

a great improvement to springs would be if they could collide with the geometries around them.
This will help in creating all sorts of devices that require stuff like a wind up system.

ideas and improvements?

If you look more into that one, collide-able springs were also mentioned in that topic.

hold on a sec, he said "wind up devices" are you suggesting not only collidable, but also flexible? there should be something elastic with rope physics, like a rubber band after you've cut it. that would be pretty useful

I support the rubberbandy thing. but it should be a separate tool.
