Thyme number the lines

Postby Rideg » Thu Jun 17, 2010 1:30 pm

Hello I suggest that the lines in a onCollide/onHitByLaser/onLaserHit is numbered. Because it would speed up the serch for errors you've done. I've tried to find a problem in my script that has 300+ lines and I get a parse error line 150. Missing ";" or something similar. this would really ease up things or just mark the wrong line/s with white.

Any supporters?

This would be really handy with errors from big scripts.
And also the comments have to be saved! I don't know if it's only my computer, but when I add a comment and pres enter it's gone! If they were not removed your code would be a lot easier to read.

This is why I code everything in an external editor like Kilinich. I am actually working on a syntax highlighting module for my fav editor, which I’ll release when it’s done (in a long time… :D)
