Record & Scrub

I think it would be really cool to have a button to record the simulation and then when you stop the simulation you have a timeline of the recorded simulation that you can scrub through and replay the simulation over and over again in realtime.

Been suggested, wouldn't work. Algodoo/Phun has too much randomness, and this would take a lot of resources.

Not what he meant Chronos.
What he means is to be able to "Rewind" in a sense so instead of going back to the last check point it can go back say 5 seconds or 10 second. And if the first time you go through it its like 50% real time when you go back it's already done the hard work so you can replay it in realtime.

I kind of support this but in a different way for instance to be able to calculate the scene for maybe a minute and then play the scene.

Well he said in realtime, so I took that to mean he wanted the ability to interact with the scene. :|

If this is what he means then he has my support, but if he means what I interpreted from the description, and what Chronos thought he meant, then I do not support.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
