Algodoo for Chromebook / Android ?

Postby EJTH » Thu Nov 17, 2022 8:40 pm

It would seem like a no brainer with the widespread use of chromebooks in education. In my humble country Denmark, there is at least a hundred thousand chromebooks in use by public schools.

All it would take to bring this cool app to the masses again would be either android or linux version so you can run in it on a modern chromebook.

I know that Algodoo is most likely abandoned, but I learned so much from it and had so much fun, even as an adult. And chromebook could bring it to the masses. I have yet to find a simpler to use 2d physics sandbox.

There is a Mac version, so I suppose that it wouldn't actually be that difficult to bring it to other UNIX like operating systems like GNU/Linux? If so, a version for linux, even just a flatpak or ubuntu only version would be relatively achievable, right?
