Equal Spring Tuning for Phun and Algodoo

Postby Dare » Sun Aug 08, 2010 7:12 am

IMO, there is nothing more annoying then a scene that doesn't work in Phun because someone tuned the springs in Algodoo. It's really annoying! And spring tuning in Algodoo is a pain, it is easier in Phun.

So I suggest spring tuning is equal for Phun and Algodoo, So that if you tune springs in Algodoo they work in Phun as well.

I'm pretty sure you can just turn on legacy mode or something.

It makes the springs act like the spring in Phun. It's in the properties of a spring(advanced).
Millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. Something terrible has happened.

OK. It says 'legacyMode = 2'.

What do I do with that?

Legacymode = 2 will make springs act more realistically, Legacymode = 1 will make them work with the same algorithms used in phun, FYI Algodoo will automatically recognize any scene made in phun and automatically change Legacymode to 1.

I set legacyMode = 1 but springs haven't changed. Still a pain in the neck to tune.
