Loop in algodoo
That recursion "for" loop with limit of 40 levels is real pain in the back!
Algodoo scripts need some "normal" loops!

Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

Re: Loop in algodoo
i ended up crashing algodoo when i made a function that calls itself. it's there for a reason.
EDIT: by adding limiters, i could make a recursive function to work over the for function's 48 operation limit.
bad news: it can work up to 49 times.
using the console and a dirtier function, i got 99 circles. but that would require the function not to take arguments at all, which smashes down the usability.

Re: Loop in algodoo
support! I need to make different objects with the same code ( except for the "(x)=>" thing ) to make big loops, or make multiple loops in ONE object.

But you have to watch out with spawning. Otherwise you spawn +inf circles or something.
But for normal use I support, loops have to be limitless.

Re: Loop in algodoo
maybe a patch that won't allow +inf to be inserted as a number.

But +inf could be usefull for other things. And I think it just should be possible and you have to use it good.
