Bring the children to school!

The Algonian government recently got a warrant from UNCEP (United Children Education Phund) saying:
"Children are having the greatest trouble of going to school in your country, they have to cross a mountain and extremely rough terrain to get to school, we demand you to improve conditions or else!"
The Algonian government responded:
"If you finance a school bus project, we will improve the access of education in our country. by putting our best designers to it, to design and make an off-road school bus".
UNCEP accepted....
So that is where you come in...
Your task is to design a school bus that can cross the mountain, and deliver as many kids to the school as possible.
but there are a few things you may not overlook, and you are restrained to.
law in Algonia requires that the vehicle may only be 4m high and 12m long (Must fit inside the box).
Algonia is a poor country and needs the UNCEP grant to develop its economy so it cant afford certain luxuries (NO THYME, NO HOVERING, NO THRUSTERS).
Algonia only has limited resources consisting only of wood, steel, glass and rubber.
Algonia has to prove to UNCEP they actually did something with the money UNCEP gave them so the children may not break any bones during the trip.

Must fit inside the box
NO THYME, NO HOVERING, NO THRUSTERS
Only Use: Wood, Steel, Glass and Rubber
Children may not break bones
Children may only be stuck to their seats using 1 fixate on their orange body.
Driver Must Be included, and has to Hold a steering wheel
Grading:
Children Delivered / Time (seconds) = Raw Score
100 - surface area = deduction (Algonia is poor and wants to slush some money)
maximum 30 points for looks (The better it looks the more UNCEP will pay)

yeah uh. I've loaded this in Algodoo 2.0.2b3 and both the driver and child lose their heads. how can I compete in the competition when I can't even get started?
