A different kind of tractorpulling

Postby Luilakkie » Tue May 31, 2011 7:57 pm

This is Yet another Tractor pulling contest but with a different objective as the other Tractor pulling contests. The other ones are based on engine building while that is not what I Feel Tractor Pulling to be. To me tractorpulling is more about adjusting the tractor so that it will go far with limited engine power and limited weight...

that is why i made this contest.

the point of this contest is to get a weight of either a 100 or a 1000 kilogram weight over a distance of 1000 meters in 4 classes (well actually 8 counting hardcore)

All classes have to use motorized hinges as power source
but standard has to have directly attached to the wheel while the hardcore guys can use transmissions to give engines less power and thus a higher score.

the score is not objective but subjective in the form of an equation. the equation is power/distance, giving a unique number. thus a completely fair outcome.

power is measured for standard in Nm
and for hardcore in Nm multiplied by rpm (as they can use transmissions).

The Classes are±
50 kg which is 1wd
100 kg also 1wd
500 kg which can be 2wd or 1wd
and
1000kg also 2wd or 1wd

The rest of the rules are in the scene

Closing Date is 14 July

We are boring of tractorpulling contests... Except for motor, the content is quite the same... Anyway, we can't understand anything of your rules.

So, find another idea, and don't copy almost exactly someone else's contest...
