READ THIS FIRST: Rules & Guidelines!
Taken from The Original Contest Guidelines. Edited it slightly to make it more formal.
Example of a good contest: http://www.phunland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2437
Furthermore, your "Grading" should, in any decent contest, be ENTIRELY objective and not based off of your opinion. That's just retarded.
If you want to stray away from these rules/guidelines, please ask a moderator/admin first, explaining why you would want to do it different. We will decide whether or not the contest is good enough to be posted

STEP : 1 Basic Guidelines
Here are a few questions to ask yourself:
Has my contest been done before?
Use the search feature to check. (*note*Make sure to check the original phunland.com forum as well.)
Is my contest overly simple or overly complex?
Is it to make a fast car---Too simple Make atomic fusion?---Too Complex
Is my contest "stupid"?
A contest to create the super fastest ultra car rocket... 'Nuff said.
STEP : 2 Other stuff...
Does my contest have a well established set of rules that are not overly restraining on the participants?
Just make sure it has good rules(And a solid and easily understood objective).
If my contest needs a base scene (scene that others build their entries on), is it included in my first post?
'Nuff Said...
Does my contest have an ending date?
Every contest should!
Do I tell everyone how I will judge their entries?
Make sure to also determine how you will be judging entries also!
STEP : 3 Extra Tips and stuff
Make sure to judge your contest entries often and fairly!
Play nice kids!
Have fun.

It appears that someone already did.
Millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. Something terrible has happened.
