Welcome to the second Tournament of algobots!!!

The rules are in the scene so just download the scene and read the rules.

This Tournament has 3 all new rounds and is 8 players instead of 4!!!

I need 8 people to make their own algobot and give them to me before Dec 20th.

Make sure to follow the building instructions given in the scene.

here's my entry:

Yay! Had to edit my bot a bit to account for that first round, with all the flipping and what not, and I changed it to red team
Mine overlaps one on each side, but its for a little stability, not extreme weight.

Crytek, download it once more right before the competition, there are little changes here and there I probably make

I've updated my bot so it has better moving abilities and better weapons

The arena looks nice and all, but it seems to have some flaws,
It mainly isn't fair to bots that are slow or fast.
It depends much more on luck. I recommend making the pistons in the first arena have a smaller range of motion and slower, and round 2 and 3 flatter.

Flatter? R u crazy?!

EDIT: But I did follow your advise on round 1. But for round 2 and 3 to be flatter, that just would mess up the whole idea...

Bronie's bot can barely move on round three, my bot is too fast and holds its nose up on round two. Not completely flat, but a good bit less of a slope on both of them.

just ask the user to create a red version, or figure the bot out and make it red??

Well, its really a free for all thing... The teams r just kinda pointless if you think about it.

Shymon. Sorry, but thats really kinda an unfair bot... You can enter the old version in, but not this one. Sorry.

Those bots should be DEVIL, THEY SHOULD SMASH OTHERS WITH the POWER OF THE DARK! Whad does UNFAIR means in this situation?


But okay, if you think it can not be, use old version.

But please check "reversed" in options of hinge on the top of bot. ( you know which, do you? )

maybe in next tournament, allow scripting in a very limited way??
