Algobots Turnament!!!

Welcome to the Algobots Turnament! To enter in the competition, you must fill out the following below, then download the scene at the bottom of the page. then make your own algobot in either the blue square or the red square in the scene for ROUND 1 (the squares determin what team you are on).

The goal is to push the opponants Algobot off the stage. So make a good bot for that.

If you don't have a Youtube account, then put "No Account" in the "Youtube Username" question.

After you fill all this out, start creating your Algobot in one of the boxes for ROUND 1 in the scene (Blue box if your the Blue Team, Red box if your the Red Team).

When your done, you can test your Algobot in all 3 rounds. Remember, you can only make 1 Algobot. If that Algobot beats ROUND 1, it will move onto ROUND 2 and fight there... ect. If you fall off the fighting stage, you lose that round.

Building Intructions:
Bot must be able to fit inside the blue or red building box.
Your Algobot can only collide with Group A or nothing at all.
No Thyme or Scripting Allowed.
A max Motor Speed of 400.
You can not change any Material Options besides Friction (Max Friction is 2.000).
Can not have a Geometry Controller.
Your weapons must have a max size of half a meter in width and height (measure them using the ruler under the building zone).
The whole Algobot must be able to run on its own (Must be 100% Auto Pilot and no controls needed).
The max amount of objects you can use is 30 (hinges, fixates, and tracers dont count as objects).
Lasers are not allowed.

I need 4 people to participate in this turnament. Just upload your Algobot before Dec 10th. Once I get 4 different Algobots, I will create a youtube video showing the bots fight in each round.

Make sure to upload it as a phunlet.

You can also download the example battle to see what it will be like. But first, download the main one.

YOU CAN NOT WIN BY SIMPLY PASSING THE OTHER ROBOT AND LETTING HIM FALL OFF. YOU HAVE TO "PUSH" HIM/HER OFF.

Whoevers bot makes it to ROUND 3 wins! But be careful... If you reach ROUND 3, you will have to take on 1 more player... Good luck!

Ill consider it though im not really good at creating stuff in algodoo and if i do youll have to wait a while as im on my mobile.

EDIT

I've tried but I have given up,
I didn't want to use a simple weapon like a cog but there was nothing I could do that followed the rules, mainly because of the collision bugs in algodoo and the small size of the robots.

The rules allow for overlapping objects, which means heavier bots.

So far there has been 1 person that has entered in the contest. That person is dacke93 (the one who came up with the idea of a turnament like this). If you wanna see his bot, just search his name on algobox.

Interesting contest which could actually turn out quite well, however I do foresee quite a few areas which can be sneaked by to 'cheat' without technically breaking the rules.

Now thats a nice bot!!! Your in! Except for the part where it was bigger than the building zone. But thats fine, cause all I have to do is rescale it and it still works amazingly good!

Sorry I keep updating the building rules... But here r 2 new rules:

The max amount of object you can use is 30 (hinges, fixates, and tracers dont count as objects).
Lasers are not allowed.

If you are reading this and have not entered in the competition, please do. I need 1 more blue and 1 more red before the 10th (friday). If I don't have enough people by then, I'll just make my own bots to fill in the empty spaces.

Your bot violates the building instructions. Carefully read the instructions and fix the problems before Dec 10th. Also, you failed to fill in your username, bot name, bot team color, and youtube name.

Nice bot! Your in! Now that I think about it, I should of made over lapping objects against the rules... But its too late now. I'll just make that a rule for my next Algobots Turnament.

Your in! But y couldn't you find a ruler? It was right in the scene to start with... Didn't you notice the measurer right under the building zone in the scene? And the bot was a little bit bigger than the building zone so I had to shrink it.

Nice! In this turnament, it would get powned, but in the next one, I'm gonna make it against the rules to overlap objects to add weight. So you shouldn't be powned in the next turnament.
