so we should have a fuel tank?

and the goal is to go as far as possible on said fuel
pretty good contest, but the scoring is less than concrete

updated fuel tank rule, hinge brake rules,Engine Examples and posted new scoring system

Is restitution/air friction multipier limited in any way?

Comeon don't trick him like that, hes new.
Its so obvious that everything in the scene must atleast have default Airfriction.

And hes the first guy to get something like a good first post contest.

yeah i am new to this, thanx RaRamalum, you can start it with a motorized hinge thts the only exception for motorized hinges

the engine that i am using seems to be going well
running at 120 rpm for 3 minutes on a tank of gas no bigger than the bore of the piston
i tried my best to not recycle fuel

so, in theory my vehicle gearing down the engine 1/2 should make it across in 2 minutes and still have gas left.

we will see soon how well it will work

He should have put the all famous: "No loopholing" in his contest rules. This contest is sure to be exploited in everyway possible, people asking is editing the airfrictionmultiplier allowed. I struggle with the idea that every can enter with his or her own fuel.
