Interesting. It'll be cool to see that thing walk, but it'll have to wait for the gondola to come off the track before it moves for me to count it.

Also interesting. You're very lucky I decided not to count falls off the gondola for this contest, because it's far from graceful on that tiny platform. It also really bends the rules because for 90% of its stride, it doesn't come close to fitting in the box. Otherwise very cool! I never expected to see something that skips instead of walking, and it does what it does pretty well. Very unique obstacle handling, but its speed suffers somewhat if it hits the ground at the wrong time.
Times: 150.11, 169.01, 144.22
Now, what's up with all these stabilizers? If you build your stride right, they just get in the way. The walker I used to test the course when it was under construction has been posted elsewhere already, but have my obligatory "build your own entry so you know it's possible" machine.

Re: Walker Race
My actuall entry.
It now walks, but I don't think it'll be the quickest.
Edit: it lost so much of the thyme I'm not gone bother doing it again, so I'm pulling it from the contest.
