Quick Save!
Goal:
You must build a mechanical* system that will save the dummy before he hits the red wall, making him get crushed into dozens of pieces.
Rules:
You must save the dummy with his body and heart still intact.
You must only eject the dummy inside the green area.
You must not slow the vehicle AND the dummy down for more than 5 m/s when it is not inside the green area.
You cannot edit the properties and the positions of the other parts of the scene in anyway(the wall, the green area, the vehicle, the dummy).
You can only add stuff to the vehicle and to the dummy.
The stuff you are going to add must fit in the blue box.
*Whatever you build must rely on mechanical systems, although you can still utilize scripts(minimally) to improve it.
You can delete the blue box, but just make sure what you're gonna build is still gonna fit there.
You must not copy other entries.
Do not use any loopholes. If you are unsure whether your entry is against the rules or not, please ask me first.
Judging:
Reliability:
10 points
In 10 tries, how many times did your system save the dummy?
Originality:
10 points
Has your idea been used before?
Design:
20 points
How does it work?
How little Thyme does it use?
Is it automatic or do I have to press keys to do it?
Speed:
5 points if you saved the dummy while in the yellow area
10 points if you saved the dummy while in the orange area
20 points if you saved the dummy while in the red area
Scene:
BTW, if you can, please upload your scene as a response to the contest scene. Thanks.

Millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. Something terrible has happened.

Re: Quick Save!
Nice contest. Seems easy enough but the rag doll is a bit weak. Might be entering

Re: Quick Save!
If i was to simply make it brake (once its in the green area) slowing the car down does the extra point system
still count? Does it count from where it starts braking? Or does it have to eject.

R.A.S Soon to be install into every car in Australia
Its more then less a half effort for two reasons
1. to revive this contest a bit.
2. to copy-mark the idea.
if this contest doesn't die i'll update it

Re: Quick Save!
I don't accept that entry. It relies on the lasers, but you see, the only purpose of the lasers there was to simply slow down the simulation so I could easily see the system at work. I removed those, well, your system no longer works. Plus, you encaged the dummy, so, yeah. And I can barely see the whole "must rely on mechanical systems" thing here.

Re: Quick Save!
i didn't "encage" him i just placed constraints around him, for his own safety.
Also I can make it mechanical
Also I can make it mechanical

Re: Quick Save!
Why do you always rely on encaging the dummy? You even hid it.

Re: Quick Save!
It looked tacky and rich he's going 300kph. In Australia we have a saying for when your going that fast and your about to hit something.
Your fucked.
Think about racecars the safety in those things "engages" the drivers.
Besides i defiantly did not choose the right approach to this deceleration from 300kph to 0 in 20 meters it shouldn't be possible But the grading said nothing about realism
