GEARBOX CONTEST

Postby AlgoChris » Fri Apr 02, 2010 3:35 pm

Hi all,

Your task is to build a Gear Box with 4+ gears (R,N,1,2,...) using only one powered hinge (50rpm).
There are many decisions, Algo or Phun, 5 or 6 gears, Big car or small car. But you have to choose. Your own car is NESSERCARY!

Scoring:

How many gears: /How many over 4 you have x5 (ie: 5 gears (R,N,1,2,3) 25 points)
Reliability: /10 Does it jump gears etc (ie: Doesn't work 0 points :/) <<Snowman lol
Originality: /10 New 'tech' in it? (Mad laseroncollide speed regonising system 10/10)
Automatic: /20 Can it automaticly change gear? (When set speed reached smooth gear change with manual override 20/20)

Who will win... Get going!

Dude, this smells like a "Make ma a..." contest. More guidelines are needed. An actual goal and rules and scoring rubric are needed. Try again please.

It defiantly not a "make ma a..." and probably not a "make me a..." it is left simple makes it more non linear too many rules easily ruin a contest.
