Allowed all that is not prohibited.
You can use Photoshop, 3dsMax, if you want and know how.
This is not such a hard contest

If this isn't for only Phun/Algodoo, why didn't you post it in a different section? :?

But I might as well try.

Well, you said we don't have to use algodoo so I made this
http://vimeo.com/10505628

It's not very realistic. I made it in 10 minutes (without calculation and render time) but I am too lazy to make a serious animation :D

No surprised: D I took part in the formulation of special effects in film 2012.
Although you could make animations and move to algodoo.
This will be your entry: D
As the number of votes determine the winner. perhaps it will be you.

Cool. What exactly was your contribution in 2012?
And btw. do you know how to avoid the annoying smoke color jittering bug in FumeFX? I did research many times but noone really had an answer to it.

If we make it in Paint.NET or Photoshop, it doesn't need to be an animation, right?

My contribution was to make a scene of destruction of objects. Just fragmentation and deformation.
I used the plug RayFire.
As for the smoke - I never worked with FumeFX.

First shut up.
and secondly I did not say that this movie is good.
I do not like it too, but they paid great money, which gave an incentive to work.

I think he called bullshit because he thinks you didn't work on the movie. Which I agree.
