LAGTASTIC.
Make it lag less, and I'll try. But I'm not bothering with a tiny scene that runs at 20% realtime.
Made some cool stuff a long time ago

I tried and made some modifications, there is no way it's laggy again. it's locked on 100% real time all the time.

theres my entry

thanks, but when the ragdoll drops, he hits the block with a high speed. as a matter of fact, the negative acceleration is too high, the ragdoll drops on his feet with high speed, the impact will crush his legs and he will most probably, die.
Scoring:
Creativity 5 / 40
a spring is the first thing that comes to someones mind when he wants to stop something from falling.
Ragdoll comfort 0 / 40
the ragdoll drops on his feet with high speed, the impact will crush his legs and he will most probably die.
ingenuity 5 / 20
as i said, it wasn't anything new.
Overall score: 10 %
Let's head on to other entries...

Now this one is better, the negative acceleration is still a bit high but he'll definitely survive.
Scoring:
Creativity 30 / 40
the idea of using a soft body was good.
Ragdoll comfort 30 / 40
the ragdoll will definitely live, but there might be some bruises or a over-twisted wrist.
ingenuity 10 / 20
as i said, the idea of the soft body was good, but there was no attempt to to reduce the speed gradually.
Overall score: 70 % You are the winner, so far.

Yes it does, but your Scene is highly unrealistic and it's unacceptable.

Springy chain idea combined makes a good 'stopper'

Soz had to make the glass a solid object cos it was causing 2 much lag

this one is better, the ragdoll doesn't stop suddenly and he will definitely survive with minimal injuries.
Scoring
Creativity 30 / 40 as i said, the springy chain is a great idea but not too creative.

Ragdoll comfort 30 / 40 the ragdoll survives with minimal injuries, but his feet goes between the chains
which may cause a broken leg.
ingenuity 15 / 20 as i said, the springy chain is a great idea but the not the ultimate thing, it's
one of the things that occur to someone when thinking about stopping a
high-falling thing.
Overall 75 %

it's a little unrealistic because he may not drop in the middle of that thing and in real world, you cannot use springs like that.
Scoring:
Creativity 20 / 40 almost the same idea as before.
Comfort 25 / 40 there is no guarantee that he drops in the middle but if he does, hr will survive without any injuries.
ingenuity 10 / 20 the spring is unrealistically long and the idea is same as before.
Overall 55 %

again negative acceleration is high, the thing just magically "hovers" above the ground and the ragdolls feet goes between the block that are sharp, there are fatal injuries, the ragdoll may even die.

Creativity 15 / 40
Comfort 5 / 40
Ingenuity 7.5 / 20
Overall 27.5 %
