Realistic truck engine contest

Task - make a relistic power curve engine.

Size: 1x2m max
Mass: 500 kg max (with particles if exist)
Type: Collision, spawn, spring
Scripts: any allowed

Score:
Collision: 5 poins
Spawn: 10 points
Spring: 0 points
Power: 1 point for each 5K nm (max 20)
Max RPM under 1K nm load: 1 point for each 50RPM (max 10)
Accel control: trigger 10 points, smooth 20 points, mechanical + smooth 25 points.
Realistic engine brake if no accel: 5 points
Realistic power curve (low-high-low): 10 points
Fuel: virtual: 5 points, real 10 points
Design, realistic look: 10 poins max

Date: 11.12.13 (11 dec 2013)

Prize:None, but that will be epic engin everyone should know about :thumbup:

I'm not very good at making mechanical devices in Algodoo, but I just might give this one a shot. Do you have a deadline date that entries need to be in by?

Oh, I read that wrong, because here in the US, we usually print the date differently. We use: month/day/year, and so I assumed that it was the date that the contest started (Nov 12), not the ending date (Dec 11)! Sorry for the confusion (the US does things differently than the rest of the world!) :crazy:

should do it year/month/day. that way dates are easy to sort without having to do any translation
