What better for traversing the desert outback than an extreme offroad Shagg'n wagon?

This little van is all wheal drive, and offers automatic forward, reverse, and park.

Return key toggles the brakes and depressing the arrow keys for only a few seconds sets it into motion.

Best time: only 131.

I've been away from phun for far too long. I'll see what I can manage.

Did it. Finally. Damn, that was hard. This is my first gear box ever, two speeds, no neutral or reverse.
Made some cool stuff a long time ago

My weird entry.
Nothing really cool, but I didn't do anthing like it before.
Finishes in about 130 sec.
Got 109 once. It depends mainly on random performance in sand trap.

Edit
Ahh i forgot to mention. I disabled "ruler" in appearance of the box because long rulers lag a lot for me, and forgot to turn it on again before uploading.

Very well, I've see 109 and even 107 too. No suspension means sometimes engine broke down (circles go out) and it reduce performance.

Just fix one problem - body is not collided with a or b!

No problem with ruler (you can disable it too to reduce lag).

p.s. why you need that small circles on transmission wheel?

I used cgears but then dropped the idea and was too lazy to select and erase them (they are hidden under many other parts)
Tested it, car works fine with collision A and no self-collision on main body box.

1 to go. i got a time of 104, but it took way to many tries to reach the goal. i had problems with the hill after the loop but sometimes was able to get enough speed through the loop to bounce a good distance up. remember that this is human controlled and requires a good driver.

Great progress from first design!
From ~5 try I've finish with 124. It's really hard t control, I think you can add simple stabilizer and many problems will be solved,

Well, I saw all thiese transmissions in algoooooo using the same principal as mine, only withought the bars, and descided to go back and redo mine withought the bars. I made a few changes, like chopped off the wheely bar as well, because I noticed some rules that I didn't see before. so now it's simpler, but it's not...

93. Great time but you must fix middle wheel collision group. It's not under body, so it must collide with a or b.

Well, rules are rules.
You have 3 options:
a) cover it with the body
b) scale it down to fit under body
c) add collision group (with heteroCollide)

Updated. Flywheel scaled down. Now it stores a bit less energy and car sometimes fail to go past first hill. My best time is 91.
