Spring Hydaulics

Okay.First off.
Hit the ~ Button,
In the console Type: Scene.My.SpringL = 1.5 and press enter.
2nd,Make a Simple hydraulic Tube.

http://i32.tinypic.com/2wm26va.jpg4th,Make two Simple Colliders.
http://i26.tinypic.com/bhrew.jpg4th,In the first one click a box that gets collided with,then in the Oncollide Thingy type in:
Scene.My.SpringL = 1.5; Scene.My.SpringL = 3.0

except Type this is
Scene.My.SpringL = 1.5; Scene.My.SpringL = .5

It is basicly just a spring lengthener... basicly hydraulics

good tut, i wonder when people will find out you can make walkers without motors.. only springs.

Uhm.... once they learn how to use thyme and use 'bugs' to there advantage...
WAITTTTT can you still use negative damping motors??

i wasnt talking about negitive dampening springs... more like using them as artificial muscles.

why wouldnt they work? Negitive dampening isnt a glitch, its meant to be there.

this is useful for people that are going to use algodoo and dont have a clue about anything
its also a good first project to make with thyme
its what i did
and yer u can every one pretty much forgot about them though

Emilk said that he left in negative values as an
easter egg. A lot of cool stuff wouldn't work without these crazy values.

Wait, when I got around to doing this, every time I press the play button it resets the length from Scene.My.SpringL to 1.5. Is there any way around this?

Well... uhm.. im not getting the problem. is it like not saving??.... hmm...... well ill make a scene to go with this and you can work off that.
