Cutting laser

How would a cutting laser tell if it had cut something? Is there a way to make a event? Like this? www.algodoo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10990

Best I can suggest is to place a geom in the line of the laser, cutting lasers don't work against immortal geometries from what I remember

As long as you're not spawning other geoms you could run

Sim.bodyCount
to check to see if the count went up meaning something got cut in half. Thats the best you can do since cutting does not count as laser hit. Any other questions just ask.
