Laser onlaserhit problems

I thought of making a maglev like train, with lasers to change the track's attraction, but it doesn't work;

    e.other.attraction = 5;
    e.other.color = [0, 0, 1, 1]
}

Putting a colliding ball on it with exactly the same script worked, but after reaching 13m/s the train crashes as the ball bounces of the track ( the track consists of many rectangles).

Is it so that lasers can only change scene.my variables, and only spawn stuff?
