moving pivot

Hello !
I would like to impose the motion of a pivot, basically to study the forced motion of a pendulum. Using scripts, I can impose an harmonic motion of a block, but as I try to set a rod with a pivot on the block, the assembly breaks. Thus I was wondering if it is possible to solve this problem by imposing the motion of the sole pivot.
