Need Scripting Help, Please

Postby ligglo » Sat Mar 20, 2010 5:58 am

I am tring to make a bomb that when it hits somewhere it grows bigger to deal huge damage, but i do not know the script for this. I have tried (e)=>{scene.my.radius=50}.

Also i would like to know how to find the GeomId of an oblect so i can spawn springs, hinges, and fixjoints.

In addition i would like to make a pointer (like a line points to a circle..). Or make it so a ball and a square are drawn to eachother, and nothing else, so magnets wont work =[.

P.S. Is getting algodoo worth it? I currently have Phun and am begging parents to let me get algodoo.

First of all, you need to assign that variable to an object property(you can assign variables to spring length, for example). Second, I believe you cannot alter a circle's radius once it's been made. You can spawn a bigger circle though, and then have it be deleted afterwards. And you can make a pointer by attaching a spring to a circle :P

And Algodoo is sooo worth it.

Unless you're an old member, no.
