No Grid (2.1.0 b6)
Hello,
My issue is what the title says, the grid won't show up. I've clicked the button, checked options, and done everything else that I could think of, but It won't show up. When I'm making an object, it still snaps to the grid, however.
Also, I can't see the white lines that indicate a box when I try to create an object. I don't know what the object looks like until I create it, I can see the lengths of the sides, but not what it actually looks like.
I also will occasionally have part of the screen obscured by this white object, which appears at random times, on all scenes. Sometimes it covers the top half of the screen, others it is only a line across the screen, but it is very difficult to work around.
I've been using 2.1.0 b6.
Thanks,
~~mold999

I know this is a bump, but I still have this issue, I just haven't done anything with Algodoo for a while.
I don't know where the logfile is, I used the search bar inside the Algodoo folder, but I can't find it. Algodoo isn't crashing, if that's what creates the logfile.
Thanks,

My Documents/Algodoo/logfile.txt
Have you updated to the latest version of algodoo too?

I'm assuming these are the revelevent lines, my guesses are to try updating your GPU drivers, or try a older version.
Or, re-install algodoo.
What doesn't help is you're also using an Intel GPU, which although SHOULD support algodoo perfectly, the chips or drivers themselves seam to have a different idea of whether or not they want to play. :/
I will try to get someone to look into this issue, but I can't promise anything.

Good news, I think I fixed it. I was searching something else, and got this:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10212&start=0&hilit=water
And it reminded me that I had another installation of Algodoo from when I was backing up my computer. I removed that installation, and 2.1.0 seems to be working now.

Re: No Grid (2.1.0 b6)
hm, I wonder how that happened, you had 2 versions of algodoo merged into one folder?
I'm guessing toy re-installed your computer and brought back the programs folder from the windows.old folder?
if not, I'm curious as to how the old version was there, and if it was previously installed, why the hell was it not in the registry.
Well, I'm glad you've fixed the issue!
