Problem with boxes glued together
Can someone please explain why the blue horizontal bar gets skewed to one side after the scene starts? This is just a cam pushing on a push-rod which I plan to use in a scene. The blue bar is glued to the vertical green push-rod, but they do not stick together as expected. I even tried using a fixjoint instead of glue, and had the same problem. Thanks

Ability to set pos/vel/angle/angvel is experimental and you can use it on your own risk
... is the source of problem.
Then you change angle of one glued geom it starts moving related to others.
- Code: Select all
angle={0}
angvel={0}
... is the source of problem.
Then you change angle of one glued geom it starts moving related to others.

If you need to change whole body - there is the way:
scene.setBodyAttrib{id := bodyID; vel3 := [Vx,Vy,angVel]}
scene.setBodyAttrib{id := bodyID; vel3 := [Vx,Vy,angVel]}

I didn't know you could do that! Thanks very much! I'm sure that will come in handy in my future scenes.
