Laser Cuts randomly

the laser starts randomly cutting at pieces of the box before it points at it even thought everything has a refractive index of 0

A refractive index of 0 reflects everything, just like +inf. Try setting everything's refractive index to 1.

A temporary solution is to set the maxRays to 1 in the laser's script menu
