Strecthable Hinges Gone!?!?!

For Some reason i can't Strecth the hinge anymore. But when i play the sim they stretch. Like i cant make a gyroscope or anything like that! Why cant i? I did it not but four days ago!

also, if the whole thing is moving, then you might have used glue/fixate in it.
try to use "loosen".

You can't just move a hinge. You have to move what's attached to the hinge to stretch the hinge, and only in pause mode.

Hmm? That's odd, I've created a gyroscope before easily.

deselect everything. select what the hinge is attached to, but not the hinge. move that object while on pause mode. it should stretch

I had the same problem. Try holding ctrl and then select the object. It works for me everytime.

if it still doesnt work, try selecting the object, pressing CTRL+U, and trying again

It has always been impossible to stretch a hinge that's on the background. Is that the issue? Does the hinge move with the object you're moving, or does the other hinged object move with it? PLEASE be specific when you're explaining your problems!
