Algodoo 2.0 splash screen is on top of everything

I have a somewhat older computer and it takes Algodoo 2.0 a while to start up and load a scene. The new splash screen, unfortunately, is on top of everything all the time (i.e. on top of other applications, even if that application is frontmost and I've tabbed away from Algodoo), which is really annoying because I can't do anything while Algodoo starts up. I'm also not seeing the startup-speed benefits 2.0 was supposed to have, although it's no slower than 1.8.5.
