Issues with the Wacom Bamboo on Windows 7

The wacom bamboo does not seem to work properly with algodoo. It often gets stuck (the marker tool circle) and only. moves with the touch option of the bamboo. The problem seems to be that it does not see the mouse move when writing with the pen. and only notices the movement when it has already been clicked. Sorry if I am being a bit unclear, this is hard to explain in words.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
