I've check scenes in 1.7.0 - no problem, so this bug introduced in 1.7.1 only.
Do you read me, Emil?! It's a major one :(

Have you read emilk, Kilinich? ;)

If you apply some force on collided object it's starts shake very unrealistic way.
You can see effect in that scene (on wheels) http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details/33059

Help me boil down this to a very simple case and I'll make an effort to fix it soon. Else, it will have to wait.

This goes for most bugs, ladies and gentlemen. The first thing I do when debugging stuff like this is to try replicating the behavior with the fewest possible objects, ideally a scene with just two objects. If you help me with this I can fix the bugs far faster!

I've tried to reduce objects (It took several hours).
The scene below has only 6 geoms and 1 hinges. I could not reduce any more. ( i.e. The bug cannot be seen when I reduce more.)
However, I could not detect the cause for reproducing bug.
This bug doesn't happened when I change geomID and geom0 from 18 to 1. Pretty strange.

I want to check out the source code for researching the cause of this bug. ;)

I did, and I've simplify mentioned case very well.
This time bug is much easy to reproduce and troubleshoot, because it appears in 1.7.1 from 1.7.0.

Actually, you did so. I think your report was very good about simplified case.

But, in this time, the scene has too many objects.

In my opinion, even if the bug is much easy to reproduce and troubleshoot, you had better try to reduce objects for getting response soon.

Yes, he's right. I have had this same bug. Even using a simple scene that I think was preloaded (which I cannot find now -facepalm-), it had three hanging yellow chains, you know the one of which I speak? I also had this issue with my Centurion tank. Very frustrating. Sometimes reloading the scene fixes it, other times not.
