Fluid sim display bugs

The grey thing is a ball of fluid.
I'm running mac OSX snow leopard. When fluid reaches the edge of the screen, it wraps back around, as if the entire "layer" the fluids are rendered in is offset from my actual screenspace.
EDIT: still happens in 1.7.1

Are they just rendered there, or are they actually there? Drop an object where they look to be and see if it affects the object.

No, they are not there; that's why I labeled it a "display" bug.
