Steps to replicate:
Take two boxes. Glue them together. Cut a little corner off one. They are unglued.
The same happens when you try to perform CSG operations.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to do that. It also unglues if you fixate something to it.

This is because if you cut something and it stayed glued, the cut part would remain where it was instead of falling. It should probably be made so that only the cut part unglues.

The main problem with that, is that if you were trying to cut off more than half of an object, the part you wanted to stay would fall. :/

Which is why it unglues the whole object.

Well...then you really do have a problem! :lol:

Edit: You know what? I think the cut tool and CSG are the
only ways to cut anything, so you don't need an etc. in the title :lol: .
