Random time steps - like if I hit the spacebar?

Postby The Linkage » Mon Jul 03, 2017 3:06 am

Hello, I've been having this issue for like a couple of months now - Algodoo will randomly make a time step (like an unpause-pause when the sim is paused or just a pause when it is running) and on the Undo stuff it shows up like Time step. I believe it is my keyboard, but even though it is an extremely battered 7 year-old PS2 keyboard, it works just fine and doesn't really press keys randomly (I tested it with some webpages). Could anyone tell me what I can do to capture keypresses in Algodoo (tried e.keycode on onKey, sadly doesn't detect jack) or do you have any ideas as to how this could be happening?

I did two config resets and uninstalled-reinstalled it. I hope I can just unbind a key and call it a day

Never hear of this issue. Probably your environment only.
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

It was the keyboard. I took it apart and cleaned everything, zero time steps...
