Messed Up Clock

Postby FluffyPony » Wed Mar 29, 2017 8:55 am

Internal clock is messed up. In "About Algodoo" "Total usage time" counts time 40-60 times faster than it's actually is (around 1 minute by 1 second), so i can't disable/enable gravity/friction (parameters displays like it was double click). Simulation speed is also affected. "Simulation frequency" in options does nothing.
Frame limitation somewhat fixes situation: simulation speed becomes normal, but clock not.

Windows 10 (10.0.14393), Algodoo 2.1.0.

Could not reproduce. Win10 too, no such problem.
Try not only reinstall but remove user/documents/algodoo too.

I removed it with Uninstall Tool, so documents and register keys were removed.
Tried to run it in Windows 7 compatibility mode and it said "Algodoo running extremely slow". Yee-ah

I get the same thing on Windows 10. I believe this is related to the same issue I have posted here, with framerate operating faster than 60hz/second real time

I'd rather be network computing.

Even with CPUkiller on 99% and framerate cap internal-clock runs at enormous speed, so i think Algodoo just interprets system clock incorrect. Feels like it has to deal with hardware, like Algodoo is't optimized for sertain machines.

Yes, I had a similar problem. I have an FX-6300 CPU. I don't know how I got to that state, but somehow Algodoo started running 2x the speed. It actually worked better. After that I simply restarted and everything went back to normal.

You would prolly have to reformat...

What's your hardware?
