Algodoo Running Slow on my new PC

Hello, today I have a new PC with Windows 8 and better graphics quality. My friend gave me an Algodoo Scene through the e-mail. I wonder why Algodoo is running slow on Windows 8. Can anyone tell me.

Please read the stickies and reply back with the required infomation, "better graphics quality" means nothing in the modern IT world, computers with low powered GPUs can render 1080p without a hitch, however can drastically fail when it comes to anything more advanced than rendering a basic model.

We need at a minimum the log files, preferably the specifications of the machine so we know what hardware we're dealing with.
