Algodoo Crashing on Initial Startup, Mac OSX 10.6.8

Hey guys,

We were setting up a class set of laptops. All laptops are Macbooks running OS X 10.6.8. Most installed fine and can access the application normally. On three laptops, the application is crashing on startup. The initial splash screen shows up with the note about it taking a few minutes to setup, but then the screen turns grey and a crash report pops up shortly thereafter.

The machines are all running OS X 10.6.8.

The version of Algodoo is the one currently for download off of the main site.

These Macs did have the old version of Phun (v.5.28) on them. I'm not sure if that would affect anything -- it was on all of the computers, some of which are running the new Algodoo fine.

The log file and the crash report are attached below.

I'm sorry if I can't be of much use, I specialise in Linux and Windows systems.

Just the usual checks,
OS updates?
Drivers? (usually part of the OS updates).

Are the 3 macs the exact same hardware setup as all the other machines that are in use? and, did all the other machines also run phun at one time?

Judging from the log file, everything is running fine, however, there appears to be a small issue with the GPUs ram allocation.
I will need to speak with Algoryx about the rendering pipeline in the Mac version.

If they're the exact same hardware, I would suggest grabbing the config file off another machine, and seeing if that will work fine, in rare events the initial config generation can play up a little.

Just had a message over skype from Emanuel, He recommends to try a reinstall, and to delete the config files, of algodoo, as this may fix the issue.
