Perpetual Motion Help

I can't get this to work. Can someone explain what's going wrong, and maybe fix it if it's even possible? I took out all of the friction, so it seems like it should work.

this one's easy. your concept of perpetual motion is flawed. this device is not perpetual because it takes more energy to push the vertical rod upward than the horizontal rod can provide, and the object reaches equilibrium with the horizontal rod in a nose-down position

Since perpetual motion devices cannot exist in real life, they should not be able to be created with Algodoo (that is, unless you cheat by changing the laws of physics! :lol: )
