Select Problem

I just finished my next car. But i have a problem:
When i select 1 part of it, lots of other random parts will also be selected. So it is almost impossible to change anything. It happened when i imported a script.
Is there any way to stop this?

hold ALT when selecting, if it is in a group then this will make only select one.
an other problem may be that everything is glued together

I took the script from a scene that had this stuff.
