I've got the attached scene, and when you pull down on the box at the bottom, then release it, the hinged arm springs up to it's original position instead of the intended slow-rotation back up to it's original position. if you pull the hinged arm down by itself, you can observe the intended behavior of the arm

that is indeed some weird behavior, nice find :thumbup:

not a bug.
that's because of chain autoBend, set bendConstant to something like 10
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

since I'm not as smart as you, I set every bendConstant to 10. no change. perhaps it settles in a shorter amount of time, but the arm still rebounds immediately
