[Solved](FIXED)I can't download Algodoo.
When I download the tar.gz, it says I don't have libzip1.
When I download the Debian package, it says it is from a untrusted source and it won't let me install it.
When I install Algodoo from the Debian package with the terminal and do the first command that I have to do, it says I don't have libzip1.
When I try to download the Windows 32 bit version to open it with Wine (active-x plugin for linux) it gets stuck on "Connecting to http://www.google-analytics.com".
I am using Ubuntu 10.10 32 bit.
EDIT:
When I open the tar.gz with the terminal, it says I don't have libzip1.
EDIT #2:
When I download libzip1, and I try to install Algodoo from the Debian package in the terminal, it says it can't access the file.

Re: I can't download Algodoo.
Did you put libzip1 into the jumble of files in Program Files >> Algodoo?
Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.

Re: I can't download Algodoo.
you shouldnt have to... Algodoo found that lib fine for me....
Also, try to redownload the ubuntu .deb package...
i have never had any problems before except for in 10.04 when algodoo package used old unmeetable dependencies so i and kutis had to download the libs from older ubuntu repository.
I will look into this more when i am on a pc...

Re: I can't download Algodoo.
*UPDATE*
as i write this i am installing 1.8.5 in Ubuntu 11.04
1. package is of bad quality!
http://db.tt/ureAEJy
other that that, algodoo has installed perfectly.
running perfectly is a different matter....
The mouse is off position compaired to what algodoo is showing
http://db.tt/ureAEJy
And sometimes, a black area the size of a gnome panel is at the bottom of the screen.
I believe this bug may be caused by unity...

Re: (FIXED)I can't download Algodoo.
15 hours. Tsk.
Also, how did you get it to work with Wine?
Also, you should buy the full license so you can extend the 15 hours to +inf hours. And extend the 100 objects to +inf, also.
