[1.7.3]Ctrl-encircling doesn't work

Encircling with the Control key down no longer adds the newly encircled objects to the currently selected ones. It just selects the encircled ones and deselects the previously selected ones.
Millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. Something terrible has happened.
