1.9.9 caps lock

1.9.9 caps lock

Please revert caps_lock, scroll_lock, num_lock to 1.8.5 mode - it was "toggle" key in controls and we use it a lot.
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

Isn't it better to just check the "Toggle" button next to the key binder? I mean, this could easily have been a bug report for 1.8.5 ("caps/scroll/num lock doesn't work like other keys").

There is no "toggle" key for controlled acceleration for example...
and "toggle" can be "inverted" for caps_lock and confusing player.

So I like how it was in 1.8.5 - laser with caps activation works then caps lock is on. :thumbup:

Backwards compatibility. And forwards compatibility, for that matter.

What do you mean?

I would guess that using these keys with toggle on would cause things like a laser turning off when the key is pressed, or someone hears about using these keys as toggles and it doesn't work.

I must agree with Kilinich. It's best to try to keep things as they were. For example, RaRaMalum managed to hack controllerAcc to toggle it using Caps Lock so you would get pretty flawless acceleration with a laser and a little Thyme.
If Caps Lock no longer toggles controllerAcc, this RaRocket would no longer work.

It is confusing for new users i guess.

I never considered trying to use these toggled keys until just now. I think the improbability of anyone actually trying to use these keys and the multitude of other keys evens out anything like that.

In other words, if you discover that caps_lock, scroll_lock, and num_lock behave oddly, then simply find some other keys to use and then you have three keys that you can use to toggle things that can't normally be toggled.
