1.9.8 Menu Flickers

First, as reported by Kilinich in 1.8.5, if you open the appearance menu of a box, add some text, and scale it.
Second, if anything has the Show Momentums box locally checked, you open the Momentums tab of the Visiualization menu, and uncheck View Momentums.
This can't be deliberate. For the first one, you (Emil) could darken/fade/gray out the menu as in 1.8.0.
For the second, just expand the menu all the way.
Also, somewhat off-topic, but I would support reinstating Expandables, as in 1.8.5.
