Glitch in phun

Postby Xenon » Wed Jun 16, 2010 11:02 pm

I'm not sure if you support the old free version any more, but the forum on it's own site is inactive and not accepting new accounts.

Right, at the start everything works fine, but after a while all of the fixate joints I have just stick everything to the background.
After this has happened, I can go through and delete all my fixate joints, and everything will still stay in the same place!
It used to work fine and I've made no changes to the program I am aware of...
Anyone here still use phun and can help me?

Select everything, go into Geometry Options, and click 'Unglue'.

There's no unglue, but there's glue to background and loosen.

Clicking loosen makes everything fall apart but still leaves some floating in the air.
Maybe I should invest in algodoo once I get around to setting up a bank account.

Oh yeah, it's loosen. Sorry. Try clicking it more than once, maybe.

I'd rather it stayed together instead of exploding everywhere to be honest. D:
It's probably either compatibility issues or something wrong with collision groups, because it's the first time I've used any collision group past C.
To be honest, I bet it's vista being weird again. It seems to be incompatible with everything.

Nice avatar by the way, and the signature reminds me of earthbound/mother. ^^

Actually, it's a problem with the fixates in Phun. If you place too many fixates, it starts gluing to the background. If the fixate turns the color of the background, you don't need it, so just undo.

Also, thanks. I'm pretty much addicted to Mother. ^^"

Right... Yeah, I figured that out before, and all the fixates are the colour they should be.

Then they're just glued to the background. Loosen them as much as you can and try fixating them again. If that doesn't work, then I dunno.

I'll try re-downloading if the phun site still has the download. I had a virus a while back which messed with a few things on my computer.

Thanks for helping anyways ^^
