slow framerate on windows 7

I am experiancing slow framerate after upgrading from windows vista home premeim to windows 7 ultumate. Before it was running smoothly.
2.4 GHz
4.00 RAM
64 bit
ATI radion HD

with the word "upgrade" ill take it that you bought windows 7.
do you know what sub-model your graphics card is?
if not go to start --> type in "devmgmt.msc"
a program will open up. in this program expand the sub-category "display adapters"
please tell us what it says in that sub-catagory
